*Metamorphosis * Beauty, Art, Culture Biannual
Danish photographer Casper Sejersen works in fashion, film, fine art and commercial contexts.
Each work is based on the rhythm of various components, on opposites, extremes but at the same time identity, every detail has a continuation and there is a sense of the integrity of the contrasts in the reality of the interpretation. For Sejersen violence is not so far from beauty and romance. The body is a person with all its qualities, its features, it is not something dirty, but on the contrary, aesthetic and attractive. The themes of exclusivity, sexuality and human life are touched upon in the works of the photographer, when all signs turn into something else; contrasts arising from the most ordinary things or memories and their interpretation carried out through each in his own way.
A space in which the works of Casper Sejersen, created in 2018 and 2019, will be collected, dedicated to themes suspected of metamorphosis, as parts of ourselves are revealed. Artistic black-and-white shooting conveying the beauty of a person as it is going through the gaze-prism of the photographer.
