
VIONNET is a typeface inspired by French designer Madeleine Vionne, her light, graceful dresses, and unique sewing technique, the use of kroe by oblivion.

Madeleine Wionne didn’t use the linings, but she sewed directly on models (or special dolls) using pins, which became a metaphor for fonts. Diagonals in letters are directly referred to the dress — making method, the moustache.
