In Slavic folklore, Kikimora is said to lurk within the hidden corners of a home, a spirit tied to misfortune, silence, and restless nights. This artwork reimagines her as a haunting figure emerging from the shadows, draped in dark crimson and crowned with hollow eyes that pierce through the darkness.

Known as spirits of lakes and rivers, Rusalka were believed to lure wanderers into the water with their enchanting appearance before revealing their true, terrifying nature. The pale skin, unnatural smile, and blood-stained water beneath the moonlight create a contrast between seduction and horror, capturing the unsettling feeling of encountering something both beautiful and deadly in the depths of the forest.

Koschei the Deathless is a legendary figure from Slavic folklore, known as an immortal sorcerer who cannot truly die because his soul is hidden away from his body. In this artwork, Koschei stands untouched despite the arrows piercing through him, symbolizing his unnatural immortality and the futility of trying to destroy him by ordinary means.
