Hi! My name is Ekaterina Ermoshkina and I am an Illustrator.
I am a creative illustrator, who help clients design their dreams, and then I make those dreams come true. I love to create pieces that evoke feelings of astonishment and nostalgia. My style involves marrying modern elements with vintage aesthetics.
What I do
— book illustrations — playing cards — postcards
What software I use
— Procraete — Photoshop — Figma
My projects
POSTCARDSThe task was to come up with or select 13 holidays and create themed postcards for a venue (coffee shop, restaurant, etc.)
What I can and did: — chose a venue (a coffee shop), selected existing holidays, then considered which holidays could be celebrated in coffee shops. — adopted compositions and chose an overall concept for the images: a foreground with small items (mugs, glasses, sweets) and a background (with posters and the setting) combined with inscriptions everywhere in beautiful calligraphy with flourishes — started with a sketch, added line art, and finally colored it using a watercolor-inspired technique — applied the designs to mockups for postcards and posters

CARDS.The selected theme was Old Testament angels, because I got really carried away with their chthonic depictions.
What I can and did:— revised the overall card system, because the traditional one didn’t fit the hierarchy of angels. The idea was that the general silhouette of each suit is incorporated into the suit itself — found and designed common symbols for each rank (rings, scepers, swords, etc.) — created sketches that fit within the suit shapes — searched for suitable brushes — developed frames and individual markings, drew the illustrations, colored them, and added textures — designed the card sleeves and the box — placed everything onto mockups with an option to create a more expensive version of the deck using different paper or even aluminum
