In the forgotten corners of the world, where forests grow too deep and rivers whisper in the dark, old legends continue to live beyond the eyes of men.

A lone wanderer travels through these fading lands, guided only by stories carried from village to village—stories of ancient beings hidden within the woods, beneath the waters, and inside the walls of abandoned homes.

Some are feared as monsters. Some are worshipped as guardians. And some exist only to remind mankind that nature was never truly meant to be controlled.

With every step deeper into the wilderness, the wanderer discovers traces of a world older than memory itself— a world where the line between myth and reality slowly disappears.

BABA YAGA: THE WITCH’S OFFERING

post

Deep within the ancient forest, the wanderer came face to face with Baba Yaga, the ancient witch feared throughout forgotten lands. Hidden among the mist and towering trees, she watched him with glowing eyes and a hollow grin, her enormous figure looming over both the traveler and her strange hut that stood upon crooked chicken legs.

Though known for testing and deceiving those who enter her domain, Baba Yaga did not harm the wanderer. Instead, she offered him a sword forged with ancient magic, a blade said to guide its bearer toward the truth hidden within old legends. Without another word, she sent him deeper into the wilderness, where countless creatures and forgotten spirits awaited his arrival.

RUSALKA: THE RIVER’S LULLABY

post

After leaving the ancient forest, the wanderer arrived at a silent river hidden beneath the night sky. Drawn by a haunting voice from the water, he stepped too close to the riverbank and came face to face with a Rusalka, a restless spirit known for luring travelers into the depths.

Her pale skin shimmered beneath the moonlight while her long flowing hair drifted through the dark water like waves. With a sharp grin, the spirit seized the wanderer and dragged him beneath the freezing river. Yet as she looked into his eyes, the Rusalka sensed no fear or greed within him—only the weariness of a soul lost in an endless journey.

Instead of drowning him, the spirit released her grasp and vanished back into the darkness below. Left breathless upon the shore, the wanderer continued onward through the forgotten lands ahead.

KIKIMORA: THE WATCHER IN THE EMPTY HOUSE

post

Shivering from the freezing river, the wanderer searched for shelter until he discovered an old house hidden deep within the woods. With no sign of its owner, he stepped inside and rested for the night, hoping to recover from his exhausting journey.

Though the house seemed abandoned, an uneasy feeling lingered in the darkness around him. As he lay in bed clutching his sword, he felt unseen eyes watching from the shadows beyond the walls.

From the darkness emerged a Kikimora, a crooked spirit known for haunting homes and tormenting unwanted visitors through terrible dreams. Throughout the night, the wanderer was trapped within endless nightmares while shadowy figures crawled across the walls around him.

Startled awake by the suffocating feeling surrounding the room, the wanderer rose from the bed exhausted, hungry, and unable to shake the feeling that something else was still hiding within the house.

DOMOVOI: THE GUARDIAN OF THE HOUSE

post

Exhausted and starving from the endless nightmares, the wanderer searched through the empty house for anything left behind. Upon an old wooden table, he discovered a plate of cookies beside a cup of milk, as though someone had prepared them moments before. Believing the house to be abandoned, he reached for the food without hesitation.

The moment he took a bite, the room suddenly trembled. From the shadows emerged a Domovoi, the spirit guardian of the household, covered in thick fur with glowing eyes burning through the darkness. Fiercely protective of his home and easily angered by disrespectful guests, the creature lunged toward the terrified wanderer in fury.

As dawn finally broke through the windows, the wanderer escaped from the house in panic, fleeing back into the wilderness before the spirit could reach him.

LESHY: THE FOREST KEEPER

post

After escaping the eerie abandoned house, the wanderer continued deeper into the forest until he reached a place where golden sunlight poured brightly through the towering trees above. There, among the roots and moss-covered woods, he encountered a Leshy, the ancient guardian spirit of the forest. Covered in bark, vines, and tangled moss, the creature stood beside the animals that roamed peacefully under his protection.

Unlike the spirits before, the Leshy welcomed the wanderer without hostility. He guided him through the endless forest paths and introduced him to the creatures living within the woods. Sensing the long journey that still awaited ahead, the forest spirit gifted the wanderer a horse to aid his travels through the forgotten lands.

With the blessing of the forest behind him, the wanderer continued onward once more.

KOSCHEI: THE IMMORTAL TYRANT

post

After leaving the forest behind, the wanderer entered a dead and silent land where bones covered the ground beneath his horse. There, standing among the ruins, was Koschei the Deathless.

Tall and corpse-like, the immortal king wore a dark robe beneath a flowing crimson cape. A broken golden crown rested upon his pale face, while his hollow red eyes and jagged grin stared down at the wanderer without mercy. Feared across countless kingdoms, Koschei was known for stealing treasures and imprisoning women within his hidden domain for eternity. In one hand, he carried a massive golden sword, while the other held a cage filled with terrified captives.

As the immortal ruler slowly smiled, the wanderer tightened his grip upon his blade. For the first time since beginning his journey, he understood that this was no longer simply another legend to survive—

this was a battle.
