From a Local Community to a Global One
[mobile app for cyclists]
PACE — bicycle trip assistantA startup app that helps cyclists find riding partners, form pelotons based on their pace and preferred routes, and share routes, achievements, and experiences.First, I conducted an analysis of the broader context, market, and trends in Russia’s major cities. On the one hand, the number of cyclists is growing rapidly. 3 million bicycles were sold in Russia in 2024 — a 13% increase compared to the previous year. On the other hand, this growth brings new challenges. My goal was to identify the underlying problem shared by a diverse cycling community.
The Core ProblemIt’s impossible to research every road in advance. When exploring unfamiliar routes, cyclists still need someone by their side. The ChallengeDesign an interface that helps cyclists find compatible riding partners based on key factors such as gender, fitness level, location, and shared interests. The experience should also allow users to connect before meeting in person, creating a comfortable environment for meaningful matches and making every ride safer, more enjoyable, and exciting.
Key parameters are collected during onboarding. The main screen features companion search, an SOS button to help fellow cyclists, and guides and news from partners. The app goes beyond simply finding a riding partner — it creates a connected cycling community where users can build trust, share experiences, and feel supported both online and on the road.
Every great ride starts with a route. Users can discover new routes, create their own, and share their favorite rides with the community.More than just navigation, this feature turns individual experiences into shared knowledge, helping cyclists explore unfamiliar places with greater confidence and find inspiration for their next adventure.

How Objects Became Stories
[Digital Magazine]
OBJECTA — Independent Digital Magazine An independent digital magazine exploring the stories, cultural meanings, and unexpected perspectives behind everyday objects. The Design ChallengeCreate a distinctive visual identity and digital experience that turns stories about everyday objects into engaging editorial content. The challenge was to combine experimental typography, expressive layouts, and intuitive navigation, making the magazine visually memorable without compromising readability and usability.
Our goal was to turn casual visitors into an engaged audience. We focused on making complex subjects accessible, simplifying content discovery, and building a consistent experience across different types of publications. The result is a flexible digital platform designed to support future growth while maintaining a strong, recognizable identity.
We developed a flexible design system that allows articles to be quickly assembled from reusable content blocks, making the publishing process faster, easier, and more scalable. The key challenge was balancing efficiency with creative freedom. Despite its modular structure, OBJECTA maintains a dynamic, playful, and expressive feel, ensuring that every article has its own personality while remaining part of a cohesive digital experience.

How We Turned Group Project Chaos into Teamwork
[Mobile App]
skiiils — a student collaboration platformskiiils is a student collaboration platform that helps students find teammates, join projects, and build teams based on their skills and interests. Instead of relying on scattered group chats and personal connections, students can discover relevant opportunities and connect with people who have the right expertise. The Design ChallengeHow do we turn chaotic team formation into a simple, transparent process? Student projects often struggle with uneven workloads, missing skills, and unreliable teammates. The challenge was to design an experience that works for both sides: students looking for projects and teams searching for specific talent. The platform also needed to build trust between people who might have never worked together before.
We designed a two-way matching experience. Students can browse projects filtered by specialization and apply for specific roles, while team leaders can search for suitable candidates and invite them directly. This removes the limitations of traditional group chats and makes team formation more intentional, efficient, and accessible.
We made skills and reliability visible before collaboration begins. Student profiles bring together expertise, academic background, previous projects, and team feedback, helping users make informed decisions about whom to work with. A simple project creation flow also allows teams to clearly define their needs and attract relevant contributors — turning the stressful process of finding teammates into a structured, user-friendly experience.
