«I have survived the deaths of many of my loved ones. And every time there was a black hole in me. You’re living, and your inner world is you’re a patty rug of people, places, events. And then once, there’s a hole, there’s a hole, there’s a hole, and there’s nothing left to pull. All these people are part of you.» — Egor Letov
The project is a series of photographs that transmit the inner world of an adult with post-traumatic stress disorder. Using the symbols of children’s toys and games, photographs illustrate how normal objects become a source of fear, violence, and anxiety with age. The focus is on a girl who is on her way of growing up, faced with traumatic memories and unsuccessfully trying to cope with them.

The bear symbolizes the fear that has existed since childhood and grows with man.

The spikes that grow out of the body represent the protective mechanism that a PTSD person creates around him. They represent an invisible but tangible distance between man and the world

Protection is painful not only for the human being himself, but also for those who are trying to get close to him.

Fears and injuries became an integral part of the personality, leading to permanent self-destruction
The broken mirror highlights the destruction of identity and the inability to separate themselves from their fears and injuries.
